Project Introduction

E-Support is an online platform from IT Department. It aims to publish latest news and announcement from IT departments to attract audience from XJTLU university. In addition, combined with the issue tickets submitting function to help users to send their tickets request from daily life in order to get help from IT Service.

Redesign intension

E-Support is a system I was used before to submit issue ticket to IT department. The function in this system is basic but the ticket entrance is too complicated and the interface design is somewhat outdated and crude.

Current Web Pages Issues
  • Slider banner is too simple, users can not recognize university at the first sight.
  • The part of news publication repeated and takes too much space.
  • The elements on the  whole landing page is limited.
  • The image on the banner attracts too much attraction, which loosen the attraction on the search bar.
  • The part of the FAQ is too crowed.
  • The elements on the  whole landing page is limited.
  • The current account profile page is basic.
  • The request from the IT admin, more cards could be shown on the card information.
